BEEF AND NOODLE CASSEROLE
1 bundle (eight oz) no-yolk noodles
2 lbs lean ground beef
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
two tbsp flour
2 cups reduced-excess fat cottage cheese
one cup sour cream
1/two cup chopped onion
one/3 cup chopped green bell pepper
1 tsp garlic salt
1/4 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp basil
1/two cup minimal-fat Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Cook noodles in accordance to package directions. Clear away from heat and drain in a colander. Spray a sizeable skillet with non-stick cooking spray add meat and cook until eventually browned. Drain meat in a substantial colander and rinse with very hot drinking water to take out any body fat. Return meat to skillet and stir in the tomato sauce and flour. Simmer for 10 minutes.
